Hello! I’m Ana, a native online French teacher. I’ve been teaching for more than ten years and helped students from all over the world with their French learning. Whether you are a beginner or already advanced, I’ll help you improve with entirely tailor-made lessons !

Where I'm from :

I was born in 1990 and grew up in Lower Normandy where I still live today. A place famous for its rain, delicious food, and rich history!

What I studied :

French Language and Literature Bachelor's degree, including teaching French as a foreign language course

English Language and Literature Bachelor's degree

Baccalaureate (high school degree) with Literature and English language specialisations

2015-2019 : Librarian (reception of the public and local schools, acquisitions, story time and children activities, author interviews, translation and interpreting)
2011-2015 : French and English teacher at
Eduk'Actif academic support company (exam preparation, creation of documents and exercises, academic support of children and teenagers, French workshops, language lessons for adults)
2009-2011 : Private tutor for middle schoolers
2008-2009 : Online French tutor (pronunciation workshops, French debates and cultural exchange)

This little session is an informal chat aiming at getting to know each other and allowing you to ask me all your questions about lessons. Thanks to this session, I can also learn more about your needs and interests so that the first sessions are already personalised for you! This is entirely free and you can decide if you want to take paid lessons after this meeting.

Regular 1:1 sessions

These sessions are entirely personalised to suit your needs. Whether you are a complete beginner or already advanced, we will build your learning path together.
During the lesson, we will work on all aspects of the language but will also focus on what suits your situation the most.

Casual conversation/Self-study guidance

Are you already studying by yourself but lack practice and direction? Those sessions will allow you to get more comfortable at expressing yourself and understand natives. I will provide corrections and advice during the conversation. We can also check exercises you've done in self-study together and you are welcome to ask any question you have!

Those sessions can also take place with a spouse/partner who is at the same level as yours without additional price

Occasional/specific project sessions

Do you need to prepare for an interview? Do you want to sing a song in french for a wedding but struggle with pronunciation? Do you want to surprise the love of your life by telling them a pretty poem? If you have a specific project and would like a few sessions with me, I can accompany you.
